The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame hosted a community event featuring Inductees into the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame at ModeX Studio.

An intimate room of 100 community members gathered to listen to the journeys and impact of Grammy and Stellar Award winning gospel singer Donnie McClurkin, Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning Gospel songwriter and record producer Donald Lawrence and Grammy and Stellar Award winning songwriter, choirmaster and singer Kirk Franklin. The event ended with a moving performance by Donnie McClurkin.
