Off the helm of a legendary performance at the 2024 Super Bowl, amazon and the Black Music and entertainment walk of fame hosted the unveiling of his crown jewel of excellence in the black music and entertainment walk of fame and the Mayor Andre Dickens presented Usher with the Phoenix Award, the city’s highest honor that recognizes an individual or group for their outstanding service to the city. The event celebrated and honored the release of his new album “Coming Home.” Notable presenters and attendees included Ambassador Andrew Young, Phyllicia Fant, L.A. Reid, Jasmine Guy, and a moving performance by his choreographer featuring Therrell High School Band.
